Sound off!!

Saturday night August 15, 2009

Tonight we went to the Nashville Sounds baseball game! We tried to go a couple of weeks ago but it rained and we didn't want to try baseball in the rain with the kids. And we could trade the tickets that we had already bought in for general admission seats which turned out be be really good seats. But today was beautiful. Except for it being sooo hot! Usually I bring food with me (which I did sneak some snacks in) but I wasn't allowed to bring a cooler for dinner so as some of you know while yard saling out in Phoenix this summer I came across the best pair of jogging shorts every. After washing them and wearing them, I put my hands in the pocket and found a $50 dollar bill. I have been holding on to it for something special and this was it. We got hot dogs and frozen lemonade and icees and cokes and pretzels while we watched the game.

Nathan with his glove . Open this big and I got him peaking out great!

Then of course who needs hands when you got a head. One ball actually landed about 10 feet from us so Nathan finally understood why he needed his glove!

Sharing a frozen lemonade which was very tasty.

We got our hotdogs and headed for the top row where we could see everything!

My beautiful girl.

Got him right in the middle of a bite.

This was cool. Motorcycles came out and rode around the stadium then they held the flag for the National Anthem. Very neat.

Play ball!

After the 4th inning we needed our icee fix.

Daddy joined us around the 6th inning and here they got to do the 7th inning stretch!

Firework time! Jessica picked up a cute little boy and they enjoyed the end of the game and the fireworks together.

Actually not a bad picture on my camera.

Then after the game, they let all the kids come down on the field and run the bases. Nathan wasn't too sure but soon followed the crowd enjoyed it and Jessica loved it!

After they got done running!

All in all, a very nice evening. The game was almost sold out and I think the fireworks made the game for the kids.
