Nathan is talking to grandma Blake on the phone. Everytime he gets on the phone, he is like Hi! I have a boo boo!
Here is Jessica getting her vest and book in Sparkes. After they pass of their first verse, John 3:16, they get the book to start learning in.
This is the funniest thing of all. I picked Nathan up from school on Wednesday and his sheet said he enjoyed singing the 5 little monkey's song. As most of you know, Nathan really just started talking this summer and he has pretty much only sung one song for me it that was rain rain go away. Well, when I asked him about the song at school, he just started singing! Crack me up! If you don't know, it goes like this,
5 little monkeys jumping on the bed
1 fell off and bumped his head
Momma called the dr. and the dr. said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed.
As you can tell, he didn't sing every word, he got about every other word. Soooo funny! But it was so cool that he was doing it all by himself!
Now this is my little scientist. She was so excited when she came home today. They mixed colors in school today. (now, we have done this at home before but it was like we had never done it it was so cool at school.) She told me mama, I need some cups and water and colors and she went right too it.
This week in school she learned how to spell red, yellow, orange (can remember most of the time), blue and green.
Thursday:
Nathan and I met up with some friends and went to the Nashville zoo. It was a great little morning and very nice to get out and do things with Nathan and friends his age.
Nathan and Samuel. It was green day at school and we were wearing green in honor of the day and Samuel was wearing it because he loves green!
Watching the meercats.
Watching the fish.
Nathan is not one to really stay still and enjoy. It has to be moving or active for him to care. But here, one of the workers took a full snake skin out of the cage and was holding it here. Then he took the snake out. Both boys stood and watched for the longest time.
They were feeding some of the snakes so there were dead mice in some of the cages. Then in the anaconda cage (yes the big one!) there was a ginnie pig I think - yep it was dead. Now the snake was not even moving towards it, but that would have been cool to see it eat that.
We watched a show but didn't stay for the whole thing.
A beautiful owl but it would not fly! They were still training it and it didn't want to cooperate today!
Very nice morning, but it ended so quickly. We had to leave by 12:15, to get back to pick the girls up at 1:15.
That is all the pics so you must be caught up. Stay tuned for KING LOUIE!!!
