Meet King Louie

Just a few more things to tell ya all.

First of all, meet King Louie. King Louie is a monkey from Jessica's school. Each child will have the opportunity to take him home for the weekend and become the VIP for the week the next week at school.

On the way home from school on Friday and we pulled up in front of the house I heard her in the back seat saying "yes, King Louie, this is my house and yes, that is my garage." He went with us to pick up Nathan at school and he went with us to Jared's to pick out my necklace for my birthday. King Louie had fun playing in the jumpy and sitting on the top!.

Then on Saturday, He went to soccer with us.

He cheered for Jessica the entire time. And then he took a ride with us to Chris's work that afternoon. King Louie slept with Jessica. But she did say that he got into a little mischief and had to be put in time out one time.

King Louie went to church with us on Sunday. But he stayed in the car and took a nap because he was tired.

He he was doing what monkeys do best. He wanted to climb the tree.

All good things must come to an end.

On Monday, we had to take King Louie back to school. But he had a great weekend.

Now for VIP week. It says that she will enjoy a week of sharing, public speaking and being the star. You know Jessica will love that. On Monday is interview and question time. Her teacher sent home a shirt that she had to decorate with pictures about herself.

She asked me this morning, what do you think I will get to stand on to tell everyone about my pictures. She is definitely not shy and feels like she should be on stage. I wrote a little beside each picture for her but she had a story about each one.

Tuesday is all about me time, Thursday is my favorite story book and Friday is my favorite music or cd. I will keep you posted about the rest of the week. My little VIP.

Here are few more pics.

This is Nathan's class at church. The first hour has been great. The kids are loving the games and picking up a lot from the stories Here they were sitting on the picnic mat learning about the passover meal. They got gummie worms after the story.

Then these I told you about. I made magnets of all of our family members and a corresponding name to go with them. They turned out great. The magnetic paper works really well!
