Wow, I am writing this on Thursday and Monday seems like so long ago!
Nathan had school today. Today was the first day I got to stay and help put sheets on the mats at Nathan's school. I like just observing. They have circle time first thing in the morning and they sing their ABC's and jump to their numbers and sing the days of the week and the months of the year and they review their colors (course Nathan was daydreaming when he was supposed to be looking at the colors) - maybe that is why he isn't learning them!
Then Jessica and I had to go drop off clothes at Encores and More. I priced everything to sell and then donated the rest this time because it would wave my $10 fee if I didn't come back to pick them up. So I made an extra $10 right there and the clothes had already been through two sales, I didnt' want them back!
Then I took Jessica over to Josh's house to play. Today was Teri's last day before she had baby Joey so she was ready to go just hanging out at the house.
Then we went to pick Nathan up from school.
Jessica got her second prize for going to bed on time
She picked pony that had a bunch of accessories with it.
Nathan played play doh.
Then tonight we had our parents meeting at school. Apparently the big NO KIDS on the flyer was not big enough because a lot of people brought their kids?? So glad they finally had a meeting. I actually got a glimpse into what is going on and what happens during the day. Now I can ask Jessica questions about certain things and it jogs her memory about what happened.
Sounds like the reading program they have is going to be very aggressive. Ms. Kannon is a little "scared" in her words. Looks like we are going to have a good teacher. She has been there for 20 years and I have heard a lot of good things about her!
