Yep, it is my birthday. I guess the conversation went sort of like this (between Chris and Jessica). So Jessica, what do you want to get mom for her birthday. Thinking..... A necklace. So on Friday night after having to really talk Jessica into letting me go, Chris took us all to pick out a necklace. Jessica really didn't want me to go, but Chris really didn't want to pick it out by himself. lol. Yes, we went to Jared's again. I am not a jewelry person and those places really intimidate me, but the few times I have been in there, they have been wonderful and not noticing before because we didn't have kids with us the other times, they have a kids room with a bouncy and tv and toys. Perfect while we were looking.
I found this and it is beautiful. It is white gold to match the ring he got for mother's day. And it has the adjustable length chain. It is beautiful and it is something I can wear all of the time.
If you open this big, you can see it better. The ring has all four of our names engraved in the sides with each of our birthstones in the middle. Then the necklace is the white gold with three stones on the side.
I guess 10 years of marriage is the year for jewelry. He got me diamond earrings for our 10 year anniversary. I think I am done with jewelry for the next 10 years and perfectly happy!
