Friends

I never blogged this last summer and came across them tonight.  Had to post.  We miss you guys.  Ladybug still talks about you all the time.  She is already making plans to see you this summer!  And Happy Birthday to one little girl tomorrow!

Cooking her own eggs

This morning Ladybug got up early and didn't want to go back to bed on her day off.  So we were in the office together, her on one computer and me on another and she looks up and says "I want cheesy eggs.  Can I cook them myself?"

How can I argue with that toothless face!  Of course.  So I showed her how to cook her own eggs this morning.
Then I took the kids to see Beauty and the Beast 3D.

For some reason when they found out it was 3D they were so excited.  Which is odd because we really don't prefer 3D.  I would rather watch it regular.  But they donned their glasses and enjoyed it.  Course Ladybug said, there was not that much in 3D but when it was it was cool!  And it has been awhile since I have seen the movie but they either changed a bunch or added more in to make it more 3Dish or I really don't remember the original.

Batman enjoyed it too but all he could think about was the poster saying that Star Wars was coming in February in 3D!

Build and Grow

As I was working this week on pictures, I realized that we are a couple weeks into the new year and I have not taken any pictures of our family.  We have taken pictures for others, and I have looked at hundreds of pictures and processed them for the yearbook but none for us.  It made me sad.  I see an end in sight for all the busyness to end by it is still two months away.

So here are a few from our Saturday morning.  I have tried to get on the list for Lowes's build and grow here for a year and our store was never available.  Way too many people in our little community.  Well I tried again for January and yeah, I got in.  So we pulled out our aprons with our previous patches and headed up there at 10am.

Wow have they grown in the last year.  Ladybug did hers almost by herself.  Makes me sad how much she is growing up!  And Batman and daddy made a great team with Batman doing most of it too.

Her little focus on getting the nail in the right place!

We made castles with a working drawl bridge.  They loved them.  It also came with a stand up princess, a dragon and a couple of other pieces.

In two weeks we go back for a dinosaur build - Batman will love that one!  Then in four weeks the valentines theme one.  Ball season will probably be in full swing by middle of February so that may be our last one for a few months.

Lovin it!

Lovin it

Sitting in my office in January, editing pictures, working on the yearbook, with my windows open on a beautiful day!

So excited!

Love my Batman.  He is watching as fireworks are being set off on the street.

Thanksgiving beach

I am back at our Thanksgiving trip.  I never finished so here are some pics of the beach.  A family member had a condo across the street from the beach.
So we just had to walk across the street.
 Uncle M.
Hmmm surveying the situation as we arrive. I was a little cold.
 Daddy.
 Venturing in.
Saw a few of these wash up on the beach.
 Batman is happy.
 Aunt T.
Love shots like this.  Batman loves his Uncle M.
Uncle M riding the waves back in.

 Grandpa and Ladybug.

Uncle M finally got Aunt T. in the water!
 Happy girl.
Grandpa - take me out further please!
 Love this one too.
 And this one.
Grandpa decided to dig a hole!
 Daddy practicing his relaxing!
And here was a big one that washed up!
Batman is helping with the hole.
 Time to jump it!
 Ladybugs turn.
 Grandpa's turn.

More digging in the hole.

We had to drag the kids off the beach.  They had the best time.
