Fun day today! The church put a schedule together of get together's during the summer and they had a bike day in the parking lot today. The kids had a great time. There were probably at least 10 moms there and at least 20 kids and we stayed for three hours and they didn't get bored. It was good to see all of our friends too.
Jessica and her new bigger bike.
Nathan and the big wheel. He also brought his bike and his scooter which he zooms on!
Jessica and her friends Anna and Emma. Three of the girls!
Had to take a break to play with some chalk.
Then they all had to climb on the wall. Sydney, Jessica, Emma, Anna and Nathan.
Then we went over to Teri and Josh's house to swim. Andrea and her kids were there as well and we stayed and swam for over two hours. The kids had a great time. We had gone over to swim earlier in the week and I had some boppers for Nathan to hang on too and today we realized that he could touch! So funny.
Nathan playing with a snowball maker. We don't get much snow though. He also thought it was great for catching bugs!
Jessica, Charlie and Josh in the pool. Alyn's little head is in the front there.
Nathan didn't want to get in the pool right away so he played with some water guns and swang.
Jessica, Charlie, Josh and Alyn. Now Josh says he is going to marry Jessica and I found out today that Charlie is trying to decide if he is going to marry Jessica or another little girl friend! So is this just a beginning of what is to come in the teen years?
These are Alyn's swimmies and Nathan like them.
Nathan and Alyn swimming. Look at Nathan go. He is doing awsome!
Then we headed home. I think everyone was tired. We just hung around the house until bath and bed. I started reading books at about 6:45 and by 7:45 everyone was asleep including I think me but I got up and here I am!
Another Great day! I know that school is not the end of the world but as much as kindergarten is exciting, I am so going to miss spending days during the week with the kids and having the ability to schedule things for when ever I want. We have three more weeks of summer and I hope that we can finish creating another memorable summer for the kids.
Tomorrow we are taking some friends with us to the YMCA to swim. Jessica will have a blast with someone to swim with.
Here is a picture of Nathan with his tool belt that he got for his birthday. He put it on himself and was figuring out how to get everything in the pockets!
