Today we went to the YMCA and I worked out. Got done at noon and we snacked on sandwiches and granola bars on our way to the Adventure Science Center.
I was hoping that it would not be busy because it was after lunch but I was wrong. There were kids everywhere and there were camps going on and it is hard to enjoy doing things with the kids when there are big kids running everywhere. The kids had counselors but the supervision was not very good and it was hard to keep track of both kids. You can also tell that the exhibits are getting older and very used. But Jessica said she had a good time. We met up with some friends about one. The kids played in the preschool area the longest. Jessica and her friend barricaded themselves inside the train with soft cushions and had the best time. The newly added science area is nice and they have some fun things to play with. Then we saw a show in the planetarium. It was called the Astronaut and it was very interesting but it was a little over their head. Nathan was bored and it didn't hold Jessica's attention. Then we headed out.
Nathan was changing a tire. He took all the lug nuts off and the tires completely comes off. Then he put them all back on.

I bought a membership this time because I am hoping to go to Memphis and the children's museum there. I also think that once school starts Nathan and I are going to go back ourselves so that he can enjoy it without the big kids. There will be a lot of things Nathan and I can enjoy doing when we have some time to ourselves.
On the way home though, I saw a doll house at a second hand store and stopped to look at it. It was in very good condition. About three feet tall or a little taller and 2-2.5 feet wide. It is big enough for her Barbies to walk in with three floors. It needs a couple of screws and I will have to furnish it but otherwise I think it was great. Cost $22 dollars. So I think I am going to hide it and give it to Jess for Christmas. I can furnish it by then and it will look great. (Sounds kind of cheap for a Christmas Present but she will love it). I will take a picture and post later.
Got Nathan in bed by 6:30! Yeh. But he was exhausted. Jessica of course is going strong but she is at least quiet. Got the kitchen and living room straightened up and my bathroom counter completely cleaned off!!! Yeh, been trying to do that for two weeks now.
