Our First Sleepover

Another first for our family. The kids had their first sleepover a couple weeks ago. Their friends had been alternatively asking to come to our house and for us to come to theirs, so we complied. They came over on Friday night to spend the night.

We made homemade pizza for dinner.

Got all the sleeping bags and blankets out. Plus the blow up mattresses which they loved.

After they played for a few hours, we settled down downstairs for a movie from netflix that you can play through your Wii.

Then they all went to sleep in the living room. I awoke at 7am to an unfamiliar face staring at me to let me know he was awake and our day began! Besides stopping to eat cinnamon rolls they played till noon riding bikes, swimming in the little pool out back, playing upstairs, and downstairs until when it was time to go home. Apparently we wore them out because I understand they both went home and promptly fell asleep. Not so much for my kids, they were still going strong.

Very fun night. The kids loved it and I look forward to many more nights in the years to come when friends come over.
