Fall parties!

Friday was a busy day. I dropped Jessica off at school, then took Nathan to school at 8am. I was back at Nathan's school at 9:15 for his morning hayride and pumpkin patch. I left there and went to eat lunch with Jessica at 10:25. Then I went to Walgreen to get tatoos for Jessica's party and home to lay down for a few minutes. Back to Jessica's school at 12:15 for her party. Then back to Nathan's school at 2pm for his "snack" time part of the party. We played in the leaves for awhile and then I went home to lay down again before our soccer party at 5:30. Now I say I laid down because I woke up with a fever this morning. So I was a bad mom for doing all the stuff I did today but Tylenol was keeping my fever down and other than being cold all day and ache, I didn't feel too terribly bad.

Picture of him when I got to school.

Some friends.

Here is his class

Working on his project.

His new teacher Mrs. Dava. She seems very nice and really good with the kids.

His leaf project.

On the hayride

His whole class and the parents who joined us.

He found him a pumpkin.

They created a pumpkin patch.

Singing songs after the hayride.

Back for the afternoon snack.

A mom made the "dirt" cake with oreos and gummies etc.
He didn't really like that I had to leave again in the morning. In fact when I arrived for the hayride, he went and got his backpack and put it on. Too funny.

Jessica's party was just one hour. From 12:15 to 1:15 when school gets out.

Working on her leaf project.

This is her table

Jessica and Sean.

One of the mom's collected leaves and they pasted them on a big sheet of paper and put contact paper over it. Very cute.

Brooke, one of her friends.

Finished project.

Ms. Kannon, her teacher.

Pin the nose on the pumpkin.

The mom's getting snacks ready.

Jessica and Marissa.

Jonathan. One of the tattoos he had to choose from was an eye, so he put it on his forhead so that he would have a 3rd eye. Too funny!

This was the first time I got to help in Jessica's class so it was fun to see where she sits and how the kids interact at school Ms. Kannon mentioned several times that she has a great class this year and that the kids listen good.
