Bye Bye boat

I am going to condense the next two days.

On Sunday, the announcements began about 6:30am about getting off the boat. First those people who kept all their bags with them and could get off without any assistance could leave. Then then started with group #1. We were group #29. So we were in no hurry. We got ready and headed to our last breakfast on Lido deck. Jessica's friend Derrick had already finished eating and they ended up playing and hiding under the tables for about 30 minutes. Then we headed back to the room to get our bags. Then had to find a place to sit and wait. Of course Tracy and Mark pulled out the cards.

We ended up getting off about 11am. Then had to wait for the shuttle to the hotel. Once we got checked in, we walked to Dave and Busters. Funny, we are seriously tired of eating, Chris and I split a meal and Tracy and Mark split a meal. I got spaghetti for the kids and they ate every bite of it plus the rest of our french fries. Too funny.

Our last dinner together.

We played games for a few minutes and then it was time for Tracy and Mark to leave. Real quick goodbyes, so only a few tears. They had to walk back to the hotel to catch the shuttle to the airport and we stayed and played for awhile. I so enjoyed spending the week with Tracy. It is very nice to do things with her. Although actually, we didn't get any girl time at all. I am looking forward to our spa weekend next summer for our quiet time together!

One of the people who worked there hit a jackpot on tickets and gave them to us since he was not allowed to use them, here the kids are watching them come out!

A little skee ball anyone?

this was a fun horse race.

With all of the tickets, Jessica wanted another stuffed animal. It is purple and she loves it. Sleeps with it at night too. She named it Dave and Buster and it was so funny because she kept asking me where we went to play games so she could remember his name. She has the name memorized now.

Nathan picked out a basketball hoop to stick to his wall. Right up his alley!

On our walk back to the hotel, we stopped in the Halloween store and the pet store, so that took up some time walking around. We had the rest of the day and they kids were not going to sit in the hotel room all day. lol.

Petting the kittens at the pet store.

Then cartoons and bed. I started reading my book seriously tonight. And now I know why I haven't read a book since this summer, once I get so interested in something, I can't put it down. I was reading Stephanie Meyer's book, HOST. Fantastic! I loved it. Anyways I stayed up till midnight and our flight was at 8:30 in the morning.

Alarm went off at 5am on Sunday morning. We got up and all downstairs for the shuttle at 6am and off to the airport. Nathan slept on my lap until the plane got there and then Jessica slept on the plane for most of the ride. Too funny, they must have been tired because, they never just fall asleep.

Uneventful flight. And we were back to reality!

Jessica wanted to go to school, so I dropped her off, Chris went to work and I started in on the unpacking and laundry.

Picked Jess back up at 1:15 and then they had a soccer game at 6pm. Like I said back to reality.
