Red or White and a lot of Pink!

It's birthday time. A little girl down the street was turning 7. It is a sweet sweet family from Scotland. Their accents are very strong so I have to listen very closely to understand them! She is also in Ladybugs switch class at school and they ride the bus together. Well it was a "Spa Party" and boy was it an adventure.
Ready to go.
This is a little friend I got to meet. Ladybug talks about her and they get to play on the playground together.
First on the agenda was Zumba. A Zumba instructor came and led the girls in 45 minutes of Zumba lessons.
I was surprised at their attentiveness! But after about 4 songs, water breaks were needed and some kids slipped away to play. Several girls held out all the way to the end!
And for your spa princesses, she had 5 older girls in the neighborhood painting finger and toe nails. When you were done, you got a boa and a glass of sparkling apple juice complete in a sugar rimmed glass. (It was plastic.)

And bring on the pink! Pink rose petals were scattered across the floor, pink tablecloths...

Pink cookies.And as for the red or white.... wine that is. All the mom's (about 6-7 who stayed during the party) all had wine to drink while the girls got pampered.
The Ipad came out before we left.
And our princess got a rose and a treat bag with candy and nail polish in it.

She declared it was the best birthday party ever! Course memory is short because when she was asked at church this morning about the party she drew a blank. Gotta love it!
