Bye Bye Bugs

Really most normal people don't like bugs. There are some of those crazy people that know which bugs help the environment and which ones are good to have around and they try to be sensitive to that.

I am not one of them. I have been told that there are a lot of spiders in this area. Ugggg! I have seen a few in the house. I promptly killed them and moved on.

I have been told that the ants are very bad. You get them in your house, they form hills outside etc.



But I draw the line at ticks. Apparently there is a tick problem in this area. In the last five years, they have increased in numbers and they are not just in the woods. I found one on my son when he woke up one morning last week. The dog must have carried it in. But that was enough for me. I googled till I found a family owned company. Bugfreetx.com. He came out the next day. Informed me of everything I needed to know to live here. Granulated my front and back yard and completely treated the entire house for ticks and flees (which by the way is a completely different process than to just get rid of bugs!

So I am assured that I will have no bugs in the house for three months at which time he will come back again for a quarterly inspection and there will be no ticks or flees for six months and that I should never have to be treated for ticks again. That is good enough for me because he will come out as many times as needed for free if they come back.

It just gives me the willies! I did 10 loads of laundry after I found that tick, every piece of bedding was washed and sanitized and I still didn't want to go to sleep that night!
