It's baseball time!

Batman has been so excited to start playing baseball. Our neighborhood has a non competitive "instructional" league for the little ones. So all the kids on the team are four year olds. They call it instructional with high parent involvement. I didn't know what that meant until we showed up for our first practice and noticed that ALL the parents are involved. lol.

So far after two practices though, it has been very nice. Chris loves getting out there with the kids and this gives you the opportunity to follow your child around and work with them in each position.
Time to warm up. All the parents warm their kids up.

Going over what we will do today. The two little girls in the back are identical twins. Their mom said she has to dress them different for practice because even she can't tell them apart they are so identical.
Once again, the parent involvement.


Batman started out on the pitchers mound. Daddy and him baseball ready.
Time to bat. Both the kids have an advantage with their swing because we worked so much with them on coach pitch. They have all the mechanics down to hit to ball all ready where as many of the kids are having to learn how to stand and swing to hit the ball on the tee.

And wonderful for Ladybug, when we walked up to the first practice both girls squealed as they realized that they are also on the same softball team and they were so excited to play together. So they have a great time together.
