The bats were very cool. They were much different than the little ones we had back home.
Batman and her son get along great.
A huge Komodo Dragon.
They have two baby elephants. This is the bigger one and I loved that I captured the dirt he was throwing on his back.
And this was Batman's perceptive with the camera. Pretty good picture huh!
Playing on the drums
We all loved the chimps. All six of us watched them for the longest time.
The would frequently come and sit right in front of the glass. They would sit very still and then all of the sudden start pounding on the glass as they ran the length of it.
And this was very cool. They have these holes right by the glass and inside the holes are some kind of treat. When they poke these sticks inside the holes, the treat gets on the end of the stick and they pull the stick out and eat it. They would do it over and over.
New giraffe exhibit.
Sweet picture.
One tired little girl. Oh for those days when your little ones fell asleep after a long outing! We didn't make it far in the zoo. Love that we just took our time and let the kids just lead us around. Very much my style. But Since I have my Nashville membership, I get in to this zoo for free. So we will all go back again to enjoy!
Ladybug came home from school and declared that we get to do all the fun things while all she gets to do is work at school!
