Happy Valentines Day

Ladybug did Valentines for school on Sunday. There are no "parties" allowed on Valentines Day. The school district only approves two parties a year, one for Christmas and one at the end of the year. So since it was not a party day, no snacks are allowed to come to school. No treats for valentines and no candy is allowed to be attached to your valentine. If candy was attached or a treat bag was sent to school it would be returned.

So we went with the tattoo cards and she was perfectly happy. They did make white bags with their name on it and there was "time allowed" during the day of instruction to trade valentines with her friends.

When daddy arrived home he had a peach margarita awaiting him. The kids had already eaten dinner so they went and got in the bath while Chris and I had enchiladas for dinner and had a chance to sit and talk for a few minutes.
Then I had made the three of them a little glass of Hershey kisses.
Chris and I got a babysitter for last Saturday night and we had a chance to go out and watch a movie. That was our Valentines away. We don't have anytime away from the kids so it was nice to get away. We have found a wonderful babysitter. The kids were so excited for her to come over and have asked for her several times since. So we will continue to try to get away at least a couple times a month.

We had a very nice Valentine's Day.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm... I'll take a peach margarita! Did the kiddos get their little cards from C and AP?
