Week 1 of school

No pictures, sorry. Just reporting that the kids had a great week at school.

Apparently I worried way too much of the last year about Batman because he transitioned like a champ! He comes home everyday and jumps off the bus so happy. He loves school and on Sunday evening he was excited that Monday was a school day! That is what you like to hear right! So far no notes home, no messages from the teacher and no calls from the principle. Things are looking good. Knock on wood!

Ladybug had a great week as well. I really expected nothing less. Sounds like she has a fantastic teacher and she is enjoying it. They have already started doing science experiments and she loves that. She is allowed to read anything she wants during independent reading time and right now she is reading scooby doo. Teacher doesn't care what she reads, she just wants her reading. They jumped right back in to math and she is doing great.

Me? Ok. Having both kids in school is not so bad. I had a great week and I could get used to having all the time without kids. Course the place I want to be most is up at school so that is how I started out this week. But my goal for this week....the office! With as many fingers crossed as I can cross, my motherboard should be here tomorrow! Hopefully that means they fixed it. That means my fantastic husband can put my computer back together again and I can feel whole and complete with my pictures all available to me again! So since Chris has finished building the desk and all the built in shelves, I now need to organize and clean the office.
