I haven't actually done the math but my wonderful husband has informed me that I now have 35 hours available each week. He has also graciously made me a list of things to get done.......since I have all this free time available.
So this has been our joke for the last week. What did I do with my 35 hours last week.
I can tell you I didn't
Blog
Go to the grocery store
Play on the computer
Do any scrapbooking
Shop
All things that I was so excited to have time to do while the kids were in school.
I also didn't do anything on my husbands list. Ahhh, I have plenty of time for that next week...right?
So what did I do?
1 hour at the Kindergarten Boo Hoo breakfast. Very nice catered breakfast at a local model home.
I spent 11 hours in the workroom at the kids school. I loved this! I laminated more things than I have in my life in just one day. I ran things to classrooms. I got to peak in on my kids. I used the cool new digital dye cut machine. I counted papers, I sorted papers, I hung things on the wall, etc. etc. etc.
I spend 5 hours helping a friend pack for her upcoming move into her new house.
I spend 1 hour going to an eye appointment.
I got to run by and see my sweetie at work.
I babysat for 3 hours one morning for a friend.
And I spent 7 hours cleaning that new house with a friend from top to bottom.
Oh yea, and I started my new diet (aka eating healthy) and I managed to loose 2 pounds over the week.
So no that does not add up to 35 hours because, I was doing laundry and making beds and cooking breakfasts and dinners in there as well. But I would say it was a great week!
Now on to week two. Lets see what happens this week....
