Promotion Sunday!

Today was promotion Sunday at church and I had to do a little photoshoot when we got home because I was so happy and proud of the kids that it went so well. Especially my little man. You just never know with him. But he did so wonderful and I am so hopeful that school will be the same way!
And on top of it going well, I was so proud of him for writing his name on his paper. I try so hard for him to practice writing his name and letters and practice his reading and he fights me the entire time. So I don't know if it was the teacher or the peer pressure from his two friends in the class but he wrote his name perfect and I loved it!

And my sweet baby is growing up! Look at her! This was taken in her "nature area" around the side of our house. I let the kids pick their spot for photos today. After discouraging Batman from standing on his head for his picture, he climbed up on the 3 foot stack of bricks that we have in a little alcove on the side of our garage and he was happy.

On top of everything going well, my sweetie signed up to help in Awana today. Not only helping but he is going to assist the commander and be the go to guy for what ever is needed. He was so excited to find something he will love to do and that he gets to help the whole time every week. And it is perfect for him. They have labeled him the little "minion". So proud of him for making that commitment!
