UGGGG shopping

My husband was kind enough to watch the kids for awhile while I got out to go shopping today. I don't really need anything but there were some things on sale that I would have liked to get so out I went.

I do not like to shop. I like the "thought" of a nice day shopping, browsing and looking at stuff but after about an hour, I am done and frustrated. I hate clothes shopping because I am a terrible size to fit. I get antsy when I am not finding things that I want or like.

1. Why is there not a consignment sale when I need it. I find the cutest boots, toys, games and unique items when shopping consignment sales. And I get to pay the price I like to pay for it.

2. Ad's are deceiving. I saw an ad for a toy on sale that I knew was more expensive than it was advertised for but I though, wow, maybe the price had come down. And I had a coupon on for it. When I got to "Toys R US". They had a miniature version of the toy for $10 with no mention in the ad that it was only 4 inches instead of the actual 1-2 feet original. So frustrating.

3. You can never find what you are looking for when you are out to find it. I need a boom box for my sons room. Nothing fancy, just one that will play a cd. Nothing that is $40 bucks because it has a character on it. The only boom boxes I could find were character ones that I know will end up breaking and ones that have an Ipod docking station! I don't need an ipod docking station!

I need an alarm clock for my daughter. Something cute but not a $50 one that has more gizmose and buttons on it than an adult would use. And I don't want one that is black with "snooze" on the top. Just something with a little pink maybe. Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us did not have it.

AUGGG.

And of course, my daughter is stilllll talking about the Zhu Zhu pet hamsters. That is all she wants from Santa! Can you believe that. Well, I don't believe there is one to be found. I don't mind picking up an $8 toy if it would make her happy but...... am I the type of mom that is going to get up at 6:30 am and be at Wal-mart by 7am so that I can get a ticket for a Zhu Zhu pet when they should have about 20 of them on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings this week.......
