Our first week of Christmas Break

Looking back we had a busy first week but it didn't really seem busy. On Monday we met some friends and went ice skating and played in Centennial Park for a few minutes. On Tuesday we went to see Santa and Ladybug had gymnastics. On Wednesday we went to the Adventure Science Center, Sams Club and then Chris and I had a night out to dinner and a movie. Then on Christmas Eve we took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. Here are some pics.

Getting ready to ice skate

Here comes the Zamboni. Need a good watching spot.

Batman doesn't like to ice skate but Ladybug does so it is a dilemma. I can't leave him home so he just fusses the whole time. He can do it and he skates by himself but he complains the whole time. Finally he just sat and pouted. Funny thing was the very next morning in the shower he looks at me and said "Me had fun ice skating, march, march, march, table." Marching is what they taught him in class and table is to keep him from falling. I just don't get that boy!

Ladybug snapped a picture of me.

In the park, they chased these poor squirrel. You could tell the squirrels were used to people so they didn't run away too fast and were just not sure what to do with two crazy kids chasing them instead of feeding them.

Big train. Perfect for hide and seek.

My ladybug.

Batman and J looking at the plane.

Adventure Science Center. This was Daddy's first time and he had fun with the kids.

Ladybug had the best time with the pvc pipes and probably spent 30 minutes just at that station. I am going to take her back by herself on Spring Break because she was so in to each different station, that she didn't get to spend as much time as she would have liked exploring.

Batman all the way up at the top.

Just a couple of cute ones: This is Ladybug on her first trip to the Adventure Science Center. She is with her first friend that explored most of Nashville with us. She was 17 months old.

Here is Batman's first time at the Adventure Science Center. He was about 19 months. We were with the same friend that day as well!
