A little Catch up

I haven't posted our activities in a few days. So here ya go!

We made it to Opry Mills last week.

We rode the carousel.

Watched the family musical show. It was cute. Lots of Christmas songs but I think it is one of those things that if I was there I would watch it but not make a special trip.

Of course we walked by the Rainforest cafe to check out the hippo and butterfly.

Then on to Bass Pro Shop.

Slot car racing. They loved this. Batman would have rather done this than see Santa.

Some gun time.

Nerf shooting. This was fun but the gun was so big that it was hard for the little ones to hold.

And we got to sit with Santa. They let me take pictures too.

Thought this was cute that they were talking to him.

Lowes again on Saturday. I love these projects. They are just great! This week they each made two Christmas ornaments. Now they don't even want me to help. Only Daddy can help. I think it is great daddy time!

Santa stopped by for a visit. He handed out candy canes.

Then instead of putting the stickers on, the kids went home and painted their ornaments.

And they don't get to do this with me but Daddy let them. They found some of those grabbers where you squeeze and it will reach and grab something. So they were grabbing each other!

Then off to the downtown library for the Puppet Show. This show was about the months of the year and how the seasons change each month. Great show.

And they still love the play area.

Batman wanted to take pics.

Out of all the times we have been down there, we have never seen this mouse hole!

And of course the puppet theater. Then we headed downstairs to the cafe and picked up a panini and cup of soup with bread that we all shared and 3 mini chocolate cupcakes that were covered high with chocolate chips. Delicious!

Then off to the Nasvhille Children's theatre. We saw Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

Christmas tree with the dragon for a topper.

Our friend met us down there.

Is it time to start.

After the show the actors are kind enough to come out and sign their program. Well A and Ladybug knew where go and what do do because they have done this before. But I was surprised when Batman looked at me and asked for his program and got right in line with the girls and asked for each persons autograph and talked to each one of them.

This was Alexander.

Batman was so cute.

The show was very well done. They quoted the words from the book exactly and then just embellished a little with some music to make it into a play.

It has been busy. But not too busy. Ladybug is home today with Pink Eye, the third time this year. What is up with that?
