We had pink eye this week. Jessica woke up with it on Wednesday morning and Nathan on Wednesday afternoon. So...
Every four to six hours Jessica is on the couch to put drops in her eyes.
Nathan is not as corporative.
He finally comes around after some frustration from both of us!
Here is Jessica's snail she found. He is now lost in the house. Somewhere around the computer area.
Playing in the rain!
After they were wet, they decided to go get their umbrellas.
My Friday Yard sale deals. I got all of the following clothes for $10. Not bad huh.
Five shirts - all 5T for next summer for .25 cents each. There is a lightening mcqueen and a dash in there.
three long sleeve shirts - one is a camo sweatshirt.
Two pants for I think .75 and $1.00 each.
An Iron Man for 2.50, looks like it is never been worn. Will save for later.
And Three outfits for next summer. Two spiderman!
Not bad all for $10 huh.
Found these for .25 each
And these for Halloween for the kids for .25.
And to follow up on VIP week.
These were what she took for about me. They said trophys and your heritage. She took her soccer trophy and a trophy she got for a baby contest and a rattle that was mine when I was a baby and was given to her. Then she had a map of where her grandparents live and talked about where she flies and when she drives to see them.
On Thursday was bring your favorite book. Well, I have hundreds and hundreds of books so she has never really had just one book that we always read. So we picked this one out. It is about a group of girl pirates and she loves pirates.
Then on Friday it was favorite Cd and she took a favorite song "I am a friend of God" but I was just not thinking and they would not let her play it in school because it was religious. She understood but how do you begin explaining the separation of church and state to a five year old.
Last little tidbits.
Looks like halloween huh. We met some friends to watch the white house homecoming parade yesterday and can you believe I forgot my camera. What was I thinking?? But here is the result of it. Kids enjoyed it.
And both kids got their flu shot this week. Jessica was nottt happy about that. Nathan was not really happy but he was better than Jess.
And my new way of waking Jessica up in the morning - or trying to get her out of bed is to plant crops on my farm on facebook that are ready to be harvested in the morning! It will get her out of bed if she can get on the farm!
