Yep, another long day. Not a tiring day, just long. I left with the kids at 7am. Dropped Jessica off at school, returned books to the library and headed to Nathan's school to sub. Picked Jess up from school at 1:20 and went back to finish at Nathan's school. Left there at a little after 3:00 and headed to Hendersonville. Stopped in to see a friend we haven't seen in a while and then headed to swim lesson at 4:15 (we were a little late.) Then grabbed dinner at Wendy's - which I hated to do because we have been sooooo good about not eating out but I had no food left in my back of tricks! Then back to White House for Soccer practice at 6pm. We got home a little after 7pm and headed straight to the bath. I let them play for awhile and then we read some books and reviewed letters and sounds with Nathan and kids are in bed by 9pm. What a day huh. When I left the house, I had:
2 book bags
my bag
a swim bag with suits, flippers, towels, goggles
two soccer bags with balls, cleats, socks and shin guards
3 packed lunches
3 packed snacks
1 more packed snack for after school on the way to swim
and a big bottle of water that did not last all day!
Working definitely gets you organized. I had everything lined up in the car ready to go for the next thing on the agenda and I even made it to the library to return books on time and the post office to mail a DVD of pictures for Chris.
