Here are some pics from yesterday. I was so excited that Nathan actually sat down for a few minutes and worked on writing his name and some of his shapes. We actually went over some letters as well. I kept feeling like he was going to be in 2nd grade before he learned his letters or even cared about them. But he pretty much knows, A, B, O, S, T and N. That is definitely a start!! And he knows the phonics sounds to go with them.
Then here are some pictures of school today. I had an opportunity to fill in at Nathan's school for two weeks while they are waiting for a new full time teacher and I snapped some shots while I was there.
Center time. - Today was pajama day for spirit week as school. Nathan has stopped sleeping in PJ's so the ones he still has are a little small lol!

Since the rain doesn't seem to be going away, one of the teachers set up balls in the hallway with soft sticks that they kids could bat around.
Of course Nathan loved this a little too much.
I am so totally thankful that I do not have to work. I am enjoying subbing and want to continue to do it but for those that work full time I see how hard it is. We left the house this morning at 7am and didn't get home till 5:30. After school I left to pick Jessica up from a friends house and went straight to Hendersonville for Nathan's My Gym class and then home to eat, bath, homework and play a little and it is already bed time. Tomorrow we will have to do the same thing for swim lessons.
