She chose to go to Chef's Market. Neither one of us had ever been in the evening time and neither one of us have been back since they did away with the kids play area behind the fire place. But we were pleasantly surprised after looking at all the delicious things on the menu and not sure what to get when we saw the big sign that said "all you can eat - Friday and Saturday evenings". Our first thought was, well does that include dessert? Why yes it does and it included a delicious crepe bar which they make right in front of you.
So after an almost three hour dinner and great conversation that was not interrupted even one time, we managed to clean one full plate and most of a second round. Then we both had a crepe which was Delicious.
Here we are with our crepe. I got my filled with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and strawberries with chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top and Teri got white chocolate and raspberries! Very Very delicious and very much a treat.
Then ya know dessert did come with it, so Teri was going to go pick one out for us to share since by this point I was about to explode - by the way, I will not under any circumstance weigh myself in the morning! Well she came back to the table and the guys in front of her got a sliver of everything. So she went back and picked out four desserts!
So here ya go, a very rich chocolate cake, a chocolate cheesecake, a strawberry cake and a carrot cake! We did some damage but we could not finish them all. But they were delicious!
A very nice evening. We were already looking for the next something we could celebrate so that we could do it again. We may just have to make something up!
