Deals of the week!

Ok, On Saturday, we made our first trip to Target and our first experience in stacking coupons. Thank you to Andrea and Ronica for the great ideas!



I got the poptarts for $.027 each (regularly $1.52)
I got one of the cereals for $1.04 and the other for $1.14. (reguarly $2.54 and $2.64)
I got the Edy's ice cream for $0.50 each (On sale for $2.50)
I got each of the candles for free. They were $2.49 each and I 3 $3 off coupons.
I got the Johnson's baby shampoo for $0.64. (reguarly $3.14)

Now that is an awsome shopping trip!

Some other deals from the week.


I found Nathan's lunch box at Target marked down to $4.98 and I found the backpack at Kroger for $4.50. I put them in that attic for next year. And he loves transformers and he loves the fire flames like his swimming trucks.

And then I happened upon the clearance section at kroger as I think they were marking everything down!!!

I got the pencils for free.
The washable markers for $1.
The Avery Hi-lighters for 0.60
The index tabs (for my coupon book) for 0.70
The glue for free
The three large elmers glue sticks for $1!
The white out for 0.72
The hole punch for 0.30
The little glue sticks for 0.97

I got a 10 pack of kids hanger for .45
I got two pack of dividers, also for my coupon book for .42

And lastly, Our MOPS group is collecting underwear and panties for one of our moms' fathers who goes to Haiti yearly and this is the one request that he asked help with.


They had all the kids underwear marked down to $1.25 to get rid of it! I grabbed 8 bags for a total of $10. Usually they cost $5-$6 a bag!

Chris also had an idea, I went and printed the first grade school supply list for next year while everything is being marked down and I think I am going to stock up. And I already have Nathan's list.

Then here are a few pics from the park on Saturday. Chris had a photo shoot, so the kids and I got out for a while and when and got Nathan's haircut and played at the playgound.
