What is to come...

My six year old daughter got a phone call yesterday. I answered the phone to this little voice that said "Hi, this is J, may I speak to Ladybug."

I called to Ladybug that she had a phone call (her first call from a boy, I might add) and my husband and I watched as she quickly but not toooo rushed made her way down the stairs to take the phone and promptly curl up in the chair to begin her conversation.
My husband and I were like OMG literally watching her as she looked just like a teenager who had every right to have a phone call and to take it and settle down for a long talk.

It was so, funny is not the right word, but maybe intriguing to watch her. I foresee a long future of phone calls with this little one.
