Bedtime

We are struggling. The school bus doesn't come until 8:24am so there is no reason to get up till at least 7:30 which makes going to bed harder at night because they are not getting up at 6 in the morning anymore.

It is also hard because the kids don't want to sleep upstairs. Even though they have their new cool rooms, they want to sleep with us. But a queen size bed is just not big enough for 4.

So Ladybug lays in bed and reads, which is fine, can't complain about that right. But Batman is just not happy.

So tonight I just let them cry and fuss it out upstairs. I don't know what time they finally settled down but a little after 11pm, I didn't hear anymore walking around or crying so I peeked upstairs to find this.
Batman curled up in Ladybug's bed, with the white tub full of books to read and their new brown bear watching over them with Raven passed out at the foot of the bed.

Gotta love it. And now that the house is quiet, I get to go take a bath in my nice big tub, read my bible study and sleep in my bed with no kids...at least for a little while.
