Warm weather

The weather has warmed up the last few days which has meant more time playing outside.
Batman and our neighbor friend shooting some hoops.
The what seems to be typical block party. I say that jokingly but I love it. There is always someone outside playing and the kids are loving it.
Sweet Ladybug.
Not sure how he ended up on the big wheel but there he goes, down the street. lol.
Collision of the preschoolers.
And the big boys race. As you can see the vehicles are a little more advanced than we are used to. We thought we were cool stuff with the gator. But the electric motorcycles are top winners for Ladybug and the four wheeler it top winner for Batman. It is probably time to invest in something a bit bigger for the kids.
And out comes the four wheeler as well!
Batman and a sweet girl down the street. He was sharing his gummies.

Saturday we worked in the garage all day. Welll, Chris worked in the garage all day and I worked most of the day when I was not chatting with the neighbor.
The air soft guns came out and here is mom loading one for her son. Everyone is fascinated.
And daddy heard that the air soft target was up so he went and got his gun for the neighbor to try.
And since we were in a trying mood. I though I would take my hand at the dirt bike. It took me a minute to figure out the brake but I made one pass down the street and even shifted gears a couple of times.
Batman was helping in the garage by using the air compressor to blow out all the cracks in the driveway!

And a sneak peak of the garage. Yep, it is a mess but it already looks a lot better. Chris epoxied the floor blue and as you can see we have the left wall painted gray. We are still unloading boxes and getting the work benches built but it is going to look great once everything is cleaned up and we get the portrait studio set up in the back!

I am glad that the kids have other kids to play with but it it going to be so hard to find the type of friends we had back home. Here it is the uncertain not extremely comfortable feeling of just not knowing the kids and families yet. Everyone is very nice and we are so happy with the neighborhood but it is hard not to miss the comfortable feeling of just being with friends that know you and the kids.

We are getting a tiny taste of your warm weather this weekend. It is up into the 60's today! We miss you guys so much! But, it is exciting to see all the new friends and new toys. Oh my, we don't know anything about electric motorcycles or air soft guns.
