Happy New Year!

I know I am a little late, things have been a bit busy in our lives. We decided to drive straight through from Arizona back to our new home and the time from 5pm and 2:30 am while everyone was napping, sleeping and watching movies, I was driving and I wrote many blogs in my head!

No New Years Resolutions for me. They usually never see completion anyways but I have some re-commitments to make with myself.

1. Blogging. I have found that I just love to blog. I love to share our activities and adventures with you and I am so much more eloquent (if you can call me that) with my written words than I will ever be verbally. I also love the fact that I have a wonderful journal to share with the kids someday.
2. Body - God created this beautiful body and I have not been treating it well. My caffeine headache is going away as we speak (in other words, I have had no tea or coke for two days and it is finally getting out of my system). I am recommitting myself to eating healthy and feeding my family healthy.
3. Grocery Shopping - I have a pantry and huge kitchen now and I will utilize all my coupon and money saving resources to get my grocery bill down. My first trip of the year was $65 for the week (I am still unpacking and getting organized)! But my goal is $50.00 per week or $200 a month in groceries. I know I can do it!
4. I want to learn Spanish....
5. To continue to make time for my digital scrapbooking. I want to make a least 5 good size scrapbooks this year, get caught up on my pictures and stay caught up.

I am soooo excited about 2011! I mean really really excited! I love to teach Ladybug (and Batman when he slows down enough to listen) sayings. Like, I feel like a kid in the candy store excited. I am so excited I get butterfly's in my stomach when I think about it. I can't wait to get started!

Change is the only constant in life. We all know that, yet we all fight it. But I am so excited about the changes and possibilities that 2011 holds.

* A new house! Oh how to decorate!
* A new city to explore with my family!
* A new school.
* New friends
* The end of being a preschool mommy
* Ladybug in second grade
* My baby going to kindergarten
* Seeing where our photography business takes us
* Finding out if I go back to work or if I take advantage of the local college and go back to school
* Watching my husband in his new job. Seeing all the good things he is accomplishing and watching his career unfold
* Watching my kids branch out and try new things
* Friends coming to visit in the summer
* Learning to speak Spanish
* Spending more time together as a family
* Living in a warm climate!
* Hurricanes - well don't really want to experience but it will be a part of life.
* A seven year old birthday, a five year old, a 36 year old and I will break the half way mark to 40! (from my 30's that is)
* Fourth of July party at my sisters
* Summertime with pools close by

I could go on but as you can see I am excited. I hope and pray 2011 holds the best for everyone!
