Heading to church

Here is a shot of daddy and the kids on the way to church on Sunday. From what I can tell, there are not many baptist churches close by. There is every denomination around here though because the community is so very diverse.
But the one we chose is right here in our neighborhood. Everyone had a great experience. Batman walked into his class and I was so glad to find a man teaching and all he had to ask Batman was do you want to play red light green light and Batman was hooked. They said he did great and he was proud of his craft that we brought home.

Then Ladybug actually has bible study first hour which we didn't go to and the second hour is a high energy praise and worship with a little study mixed in. When we arrived, the kids praise team was singing which is actually a group of kids made of their peers from K-5th grade and they sing every week. Then as we slipped out, the stage was taken over by grownups that were beginning a skit. Looked like there were probably at least 75 kids in there and Ladybug was pumped when I picked her up. Plus she was so excited to see that they have Awana was well! They actually have a parents bleacher in the kids are so that we can stay and worship with the kids if we want, which we will most likely do one week.

Chris and I enjoyed the service as well. I was so glad to be back in church. Love the praise music. They keep the service to about an hour which I love. They just worship and then the pastor preaches. If you have an offering, you just drop it in a box by the door on the way in or out and one more song on the way out. They have a bunch of opportunities for involvement the adults as well.

Have been praying that God puts our entire family in the right place. Excited to see where he leads us.
