As for us we celebrated his birthday with an away softball game at 9am, a home soccer game at 10am and lots and lots of rain. It was actually very nice. We made it home from the games just in time for the rain to begin and spend the rest of the day at the house. I got a little cleaning done and the kids played and watched movies all day. Cooked some meatloaf and homemade mashed potatoes for dinner and brownies for dessert. All while I had the windows open listening to the rain.
Here are some shots of Batman's soccer game from last Saturday. I didn't take any today because I seriously thought the sky was going to pour down rain at any moment and I didn't want to get my camera wet. They get in trouble for keeping score but this week and last week they pretty much won. Batman still has tunnel vision for the ball and gets goal after goal.
Today at some points Batman sat with me while only one other person on his team played (so 3 against 1) and the other team was still having trouble getting a goal because they kept kicking it past the goal.
Ladybug lost her game as well. We played Greenbriar today. I had to leave early but Chris said she got some great hits.
"Softball ready" I think Batman hears it so much that he is always softball ready for the kickoffs.
On of his teammates will copy his softball ready now. lol.
