Before we even started our hike, they found some dirt to play in.

Yep, Ladybug and her good friend. I decided that Ladybug is in her happy place with him. They never fuss at each other, don't fight and just get along so well.

After mentioning that you could see the water through the cracks, they had to take a closer look.

The boy loves sticks! There were plenty of them to be found here.

Found a nice shady spot to have lunch. As we were finishing up, the park ranger found us and informed us that we are not allowed to eat at this park. We are only allowed to eat in our cars so as not to disturb the habitat with crumbs. Whoops. We were already done.

Just a talking!

After we would drink our water, the kids begin filling the bottles us with rocks. They carried them the rest of the way and Ladybug washed them off when we got home and they are still sitting on the table.

Sometimes they get along so nicely. lol.

Sweetie.

They spent the majority of the time like this.

Everyone has to help with the rocks.

Oh cool. We saw deer. They were very close and didn't seem to be too afraid of us. They just looked up at us and then moved on. They crossed about 50 feet ahead of us on the path.

Worms. Now Batman likes worms but it was actually A who started digging in hopes of finding a worm.

Finally they both found one.

Being goofy!

Look at that one! Just way too cute.

Turtles. This one is small but they actually had some huge ones!

Batman is running down the hill. It is the final strech before we got to the car.
What a fun day and I was so excited to do something new in Nashville that I haven't done yet!
