Monday 4-19-10 game

Here are some pictures from Monday's game. We won again. I think we are 3 and 1 right now. The girls did great again. Ladybug got two hits this time and she struck out 2 times. One was just a strike out and the second she fouled 4 hits and got one strike and you only get five pitches and your turn is over. Course I have several pictures of her hitting and her eyes are all closed. That could have something to do with it. lol.

For some reason this time she didn't drop the bat. She ran half way to first base with her bat as you can see and she was smiling the whole way!

Yesterday very solemnly Ladybug came up to me and said she had something to tell me but really didn't want to. I told her it was ok and that she could tell me anything. Finally she told me that she didn't want to play softball anymore unless she could hit everytime. I think that she meant, she didn't want to play the field and she didn't want to have to wait for her friends to hit, she just want to bat.

But then tonight, I told her we have a game tomorrow and she was soooo excited and said yeh!

Thought this was cute to. The girls have a saying they repeat while in the dugout and their team members are up to bat..

Hilarious. I asked the dugout mom if she taught them that and she said no and she cringes ever time they start it. lol.
