First Softball Game

Ladybug had her first softball game last night. We have been working so hard on getting her to hit the ball and watching the ball. She got two hits last night and was so excited. She also got the game ball at the end of the game for getting two hits!

I don't think I will have any softball post without the boys playing in the dirt. Ms. Rene was right, the buckets and shovels are the way to go!

Pre-game pep talk with dad!

Sweet!

He got a little excited when she got up to bat!

She played catcher one inning. So funny, she gets to her position and starts talking to the ump. They had a little conversation going.

Well, you have to kick a little dirt too.

She is running to second here. She is a fast little thing.

Now she is socializing on second!

Rounding third....aaaaah wait, you have to touch the base! Come back, come back! Coach grabbed her arm to get her to come back and she got a warning because she is not allowed to touch the kids!

Run home!

Made it!

Love this picture! This was after she made it home and declared that she got a home run! Not really, she just made it home.

Second base. She also played right field and left field and catcher this game.

Second hit, running to first.

So excited.

Open this picture big and you can see her face!

Ok, now you need to watch the coach on third base.

Running to second.

We won!

Getting the game ball.

So cute, listening to instructions together.

Coaches signing the game ball.

Great job Ladybug! The whole team did great. Everyone was hitting great and working together.
