First Day of Spring Break!

Yea! It is the first day of spring break! We met up with friends early to work out at the church and then ate lunch in the picnic area and then headed to the Nashville zoo. It was a beautiful day and a great way to kick off spring break.

Now there are a lot of pictures here so that my friend can blog steal (I mean share lol) but you will see the reoccurring them of Ladybug and her friend C. I should have just made it the "Ladybug and C" post. But even if they didn't realize there were other people around, there were others there! Her and C just get in there own world and they get along so well together that I love to watch them.

First stop the monkeys.

The meerkats. We sat here and watched for a good while. They were all so content to just watch.

Still the meerkats. Love this picture.

Most of our group here.

I asked them to get on the rock and strike a pose! So cute.

Own world again.

Everyone wanted to "help" pull the wagon.

Watching the alligators.

I think this may have been the cheetah.

Watching the fish.

Had to get a closer look at the fish. STOP climbing!

Love their faces.

And again.

In the bamboo forest.

They were shaking the trees a little but nothing bad. One parent that walked by us actually said, "don't do what they are doing" to their kids".

Tried to get a nice picture of everyone but a little choking was going on at the same time. I told them to squish together. They did.

Cuties. Don't they look good together!

Here are our three year old's. Batman has declared the middle girl his best friend. But I see it as a love/hate relationship. At one point during the day, Batman declared that "she is not my best friend anymore!" Then at another point, he was sitting in her lap and all has happy.

Helping.

They found this spot (which has no animals) where they are building a habitat and they wiggled their way under the net to watch.

Sweetie.

Here they are again. His mom asked me if I told them to do that for a picture. I said no, they were just staring off. I believe they were watching a bee.

Still watching, they were their in this spot for awhile.

I think I like this better for her spring picture than the ones we did in the studio. By the way, funny story about the dress. She got it last summer and while we were with my mom, she said one morning that she wanted to wear her "hooker" dress! WHAT?? She was referring to the anchor. We got a good laugh out of that one.

On the way out, one more look at the monkeys.

There they are again.

It was a long day and the both passed out before we got to the main intersection. But we had a family night planned with dinner and a movie so I told them they couldn't go to the movie if they didn't go to sleep. It worked.

Very fun day.
