Got to speech class on time at 8am
Bad:
The Curb and the Curve in the parking lot
Ugly:
The two large holes in my front right tire after hitting the curb that immediately completely deflated my tire!
By the way, since my husband doesn't read this, I didn't mind telling you that yes, it was my fault that I hit the curb and I feel silly enough about doing that. My husband was content with the fact that I had a blowout and we will leave it at that for now! lol.
Not my tire, my had two large holes in the side wall but you get the idea!
Good:
#ROAD - free roadside assistance from my Verizon phone(well I pay a monthly fee for $1.50 for the service
Good:
Extra time in the car to cut out coupons while waiting for 24/7 road side assistance
Good:
Nice roadside assistance man, although, he was a little scatterbrained
Good:
Zero charge to change my flat tire
Bad:
Driving 50 miles and hour on Vietnam Vets (a 70 mile an hour road) with my flashers on with a fear of going over 55 on my doughnut!
Good:
Made it to firestone!
Good:
Had all my car paperwork filed neatly in a folder under my seat that told me I had purchased the replacement plan when I bought my tires
Good:
I had lifetime alignment as well (by the way, you are supposed to align every six months, my last time was two years ago.) I am sure that I will conveniently forget that fact again in six months.
Good:
The mall is in the same parking lot so we could walk over while our tire was getting fixed.
Good:
Nice lunch at Subway
Bad:
Batman's belly started hurting???
Good:
A nice lady brought us and extra carousel token she wasn't going to use so we got to ride the carousel for free. I think she let him ride for two cycles since it wasn't busy.
Good:
The helicopter in the center of the mall was malfunctioning and he got to ride it two times for free, he just kept pushing start
Good:
Play area in the mall. Although it has been awhile since we have been there, he had fun but it is better for the younger ones (my babies are getting big.)
Good:
Cookie store for a cookie snack
Bad:
After playing, Batman's belly started hurting again
Ugly:
Off to the bathroom to throw up
Good:
He waited till we got to the bathroom and declared he felt "much better mama." He was ready to go again.
Good:
Easter bunny and the bunny train. I think they let him ride the bunny train for about 5 minutes. Long enough for him to start getting into mischief by sticking his hand out the tops of the window so that he could play with the bell!
Good:
Got the call the tire was fixed. Free alignment and $17 later I had a brand new tire!
Good:
Done in time to pick Ladybug up from school
Good:
Must have worn Batman out because he fell asleep in the car on the way
Good:
We got to the car rider line early and I had 20 minutes to quietly read my book. Yea.
Good:
Unplanned day that turned into a very nice day with my son and all in all, no frustration in having to deal with something that could be very unpleasant!
