First up was a pastel marshmallow rainbow.
There were four colors of marshmellows and we talked about separating them into colors and doing one row for each color. Ladybug jumped right in and did it.
Batman on the other hand took it upon himself to create his own. Instead he made a rainbow pattern and did the entire rainbow in a four color pattern. He never ceases to amaze me.
Then we printed shamrocks to color.
We found 16 different shades of green and wrote them all out on her paper and they both colored their shamrocks with all 16 shades.
Then Ladybug took it a step further and glued sequence around her shamrock and green feathers to the side.
Ladybug and her projects.
Then I got them each 5 cups out and filled three with water. I added green food coloring so they could experiment with moving the green around and mixing it was water to make lighter shades of green.
