Parents Day Out

Funny how perspective changes when things in your life change. I guess that statement is kind of profound and really it is only for me and my crazy mind. Lots of little things have changed in my life over the last few months. All of them for the better. I look at a lot of things differently now.

Anyhow, they had a parents day out at the gym today. I decided to let Batman go. It would give him a break from me (who he sees all day everyday) and a break for me (not having someone attached to me all day). It gave me a chance to work in the house with no interruptions.


We picked his friend D up to join him for the morning. They were both all smiles when we got there and when I picked them back up.

In fact, his friend asked if I could use the "rocket" on my car to get there to pick him up for the day faster! lol

But it was a Dora and Diego adventure. All the kids bring a backpack with their favorite snack and then they get play time in the gym, a Diego movie and they went on a hunt for an animal. These too ended up in the same group all day together so they had to find a bird. Our friends down the street were in other groups and some had to find a kangaroo, a monkey and other things.
