Batman's first baseball game...

Monday evening was Batman's first baseball game. He is in the "instructional" league for four year olds. So there is no competitiveness in it at all! There is no scoring, there are no outs, and everyone wins and has fun.
We are the Angels. The team is warming up before the big game.
Trying to find the best way to wear his hat!

Daddy is warming him up.
Yes, the black eye stuff is a must for any good baseball player.

Every team has a banner made. This will be on the dugout at each game and will be on the truck during the parade.
My boys.
I love the black and white.
Sweet girl. Wearing her red and supporting her brother.
10 kids play at a time so two players sit the bench. He rotates every player through every position. So you never play the same place twice. It gives them a change to practice everywhere.
Dugout duty.
Playing first base. Need a good target.
Batman was so awesome. Every ball pretty much goes to first. Well this was the first ball that came to him and he got the runner out. Course like I said, it is all just for fun because the runner actually stays on the base and finish running even though he go out. But way to go Batman!

His turn up to bat! Walking out there like a pro.

Nice solid grounder.
He got to first base with no problem. But then decided to play in the dirt. You can see him straining it through his hands. lol.
On to second.
To third.
Stop at third.
Ready to go home!

It was a very fun first game. Looking forward to the opening day this weekend with a parade and dedication of the new field and Ladybug's first game tomorrow.
