This morning we played our first game at 9am and it was another close one. This tournament was double elimination and we had already lost one game. So it was another stressful game and a close one. We were neck and neck and won it in the last inning.
So we immediately moved to another field to start the next game. We had about a 15 minute break and then it was time to play ball again.
We won our second game. It was another good team but the score was not as close and we knew we would go on to win. It was almost noon by this time.
Bracket said we play again at 3pm. We headed home to the cool air, got some lunch and turned on a movie for Ladybug so that she could rest.
At 2pm we were on our way back to Portland.

We won the coin toss so we took the field first. But the other team racked up 7 runs in the first inning and the second inning. We held them the next few innings but couldn't ever catch up. So we lost our game 15 to 5 which put us out of the tournament. So sad, but the girls did awesome and they had fun.

Shana huddled them up so that they could drench coach Clint with water. Course Clint knew it was coming and took it like a trooper.
