Daddy's last day of work in Nashville. Bittersweet for him.
The kids and I planned dinner for him that evening. Yes we broke out the fine china but of course had plastic cups because that is the only cup daddy will drink out of. But we all enjoyed the china.
The kids each made a card for him. Ladybug did all of the cutting out and gluing on.
We made flowers that come out of the pot and put special sayings on the back that would remind Chris of the kids when he was homesick.

We enjoyed Lasagna and bread with brownies and ice cream for dessert. Then the big white sheet that was on the table covered up his big gift. The kids and I put together some of his favorite foods and snacks and drinks for him to take to set up in his new apartment. We had a very nice evening together before he headed out the next day for his new job.
