Russell Sims on Tuesday

As our kickoff event this summer, we headed up to Bowling Green and to Russell Sims waterpark. It is a local community park that is open to the public and it is great for the kids! They have a huge zero entry pool, a large spray pad, two waterslides that are pretty child friendly and lots of buckets that tip over water and flowers that spray water out. Then for the bigger kids, they have another huge area that is deeper with diving boards. They do not allow you to bring food into the park but there is a large pavalion right outside and a playground where you can go and eat then go back in to swim.

The spray pad, just getting warmed up!

This is the spray pad area and you can see the two water slides in the background.

My baby girl.

Standing in line for the slides. None of her friends would go down with her so she kept going by herself over and over.

Well, Josh went down once and declared at the bottom that "He almost died" going down that slide!

Ladybug loving it!

Here are bunch from our group.

Eating at the pavailion. Moms were not happy about the picture. lol

Just a swingin.

Emma was posing for me. lol.

Ladybug swimming.

Batman diving in the water. He was awesome! He swam all over the place and would have staying in all day.

Mama's through a lot of rings to dive after today.

Ladybug found a girl friend while we were there. That girl amazes me! She can talk to anyone and make friends with anyone.

Our group of friends.

Ladybug and her friend wanted a pic.

Very fun day! We may have to find a day and head back up there again!
