Batman's Field Day May 7, 2009

The kids field days were scheduled the same day so I had to split my day up so that I could share some with each of them.

I started with Batman. I helped set up a little at 8am and then hung out while we waited for the festivities to begin.

Here he is with some friends. The are sitting on the bench after a bathroom break waiting for instructions.

Love this. This is his whole class. They are singing "Open the eyes of my heart Lord." They do motions to the whole song and they all sing so nicely. Love to watch them.

Open the eyes of my heart Lord, Open the eyes of my heart.
I want to see you, I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart Lord, Open the eyes of my heart.
I want to see you, I want to see you.

See you high and lifted it, Shinin' in the light of your glory.
Pour out your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy.

Then outside to play.

Our first station had three events. A ball toss.

Basketball and...

Ring toss.

Then we moved to bubbles and swimming for a gift in a pool.

Next station was painting and chalk. They hung big sheets of paper up and the kids painted on it. Batman really liked doing this.

Time for chalk. He didn't care about this so much.

Then Lastly it was parachute time! He loved this.

The wind was blowing so hard on Friday, that it would practically stay up by itself.

Then back inside for lunch. The school bought pizza for everyone today and then they each got a drink, chips and a dessert.

Very fun day. I left him at school for a much needed nap and headed to Ladybug's field day.
