Zoo day - week 3 - Camouflage

We started off our Thursday last week at the car wash. If you notice, he still has snake with him. He had the best time watching the cars go through. My kid infected car was wayyy past due for a good cleaning, washing and waxing!

Then when we got to the zoo, we had a little impromptu photo session. Yep, still have the snake but Batman, jumped up on a rock and said "take my picture". Hey, if he is actually going to smile for the camera, I will definitely take his picture!



I love this one.

Off to class. Today our class was about camouflage and animals that blend into their environment.

Our first animal was a screech owl. He blends into the trees.



Next was a bearded dragon.


We got to touch this one.

Which one of these colors does he blend into?



Then the kids got to dress up in camo. She had a whole box of stuff. Batman went straight to the baseball helmet.


Then our craft was binoculars.




We didn't have time to walk today and I was disappointed because it was a pretty day, but we did walk over to the African Wild Dogs.
