Today is the day Batman and I spend together. We started out at speech class at 8:00 and then headed to Bass Pro Shop for some manly Valentine Day Shopping. He was much more interested in the gun shooting game in the back than the fish or animals all around the store. After getting what we came for, we headed to the zoo.
It was very cold today, too cold to try to go outside so we stayed in today.
Played with my camera a little. These are through the glass. Pretty cool huh.
We got to watch them feed the iguanas and turtles today. She hand fed the iguanas dead mice.
This one did not want to come down to eat. Actually Batman took this pic.
Then off to class. Today was SSSS Snakes class.
First we got to touch a python snake skin.
Then the stuffed snake. lol.
Then we got to see a sand snake. These were very neat. He burrows himself in the sand and can breath just fine.
Batman got to pet him.
You can see as soon as she put him back in his sandbox, he went straight back under the sand.
We also got to see and pet a corn snake.
Today our craft was a snake bracelet. They decorated it with paint dopers and crayons.
Finished bracelet and a feather that he found in the aviary .
Singing their song at the end of the class about the animals they learned about today.
Then we headed home to pick up Ladybug and go to the grocery store for dinners. We headed home to cook dinner for two families as well as our own and spent the afternoon doing that and making cookies for dessert. By the time we got done delivering and visiting with our friends, it was 7:30 before we got home to eat and 9pm before I got everyone off to bed.
Valentines Day parties are tomorrow!
