Jess's mom

I like the sound of that huh. Jess's mom!

We had our first softball meeting tonight. It was just the introductory, meet the coach, go over a few details.

Well at the end, we had to get the kids sizes for their uniform, get the name they want put on the back and what number they wanted and order parent shirts if desired.

We asked Jessica what name she wanted on the back of her shirt, Jessica or Jessie. She said Jessie and she wanted to be number 5.

Well when it was her turn, she walked right up and said she wanted "Jess" on her shirt. We asked her if she was sure and she said yep, Jess. And since 5 was taken, she wanted number 6 (since she will soon be six).

Next I was asked what I wanted on my shirt. She mentioned "Jess's mom" and I was hooked! So mine will match her uniform and say Jess's Mom, with number 6 on it! Daddy also got one with "Jess's Dad" on his.

First meeting was good. Coaches seem very nice and want to make the season fun for they kids, win or lose. So I am looking forward to it!
