Some of Batman's friends

We watched a friend on Tuesday this week. Batman was so excited she was coming over. He told me before she arrived that he was "going to show her his room." We played at the house for a little while and then headed to speech class. AP has class right after Batman. Then she accompanied us to our My Gym class. They had a good time together. Whenever AP got too far away, which was not often, Batman would work his way back to her.

During introduction time.

Warm up your muscles.

Cutie!

Have to jump over the rope.

Too high!

Batman running.

Go AP!

This time they had to jump over the wiggly snake.

Too cute!

Now be a snake and crawl underneath.

Swing time!

Koosh balls! Between your toes.

Now catch it with your hands.

Now hold it under your chin.

One more game time.

Another cutie.

Now they are turtles. If they get tagged, they have roll on their back like they are stuck until the other teacher comes and tags them.

Ending story. We had a good time today!

Yep, real school changed everything. I now have one day a week where Nathan and I can enjoy some time together and we haven't been doing a good job of planning things. So this week we got with some friends and took the "boys" to play at Cornerstone. Now I can't say all boys because one little sister was there that was just too cute for my camera.

Little J.

Yep, there is the cutie!

We all agreed, nice to get together and have adult talk again.

I would say baby D. but he is no longer a baby. He hung right in there with the big boys!

Big Brother M.

Another friend that we played soccer with. They are too funny when they get together.

There is S. I know that is not the greatest picture of him, but it is exactly him!

Look who made it to the very top.

Couple more cuties.

This was came out blurry. My lens does not do as well inside but isn't he cute!

Another cutie.

Nice time. I have said this before, but it is so neat to see Nathan break out on his own and see his friendships develop.

A topic came up with school changing everything this year. And I made the comment that I have not missed anything in the last five years. I thought about that after I left. It is so true. (As of right now lol) I have absolutely no regreats. Even when I went back to work when Ladybug was 7 months old and when I taught MDO when Batman was born for a year. Then deciding to completely stay home when Ladybug was three. We did so much that year and I don't mean just going places but all the things we did at home, the toys, the puzzles, the crafts, the books, the just being there. The going places was as much for me as for the kids because I am just not a home person. And now that this year has morphed into a new stage in our lives, I still don't think I am missing a thing. We don't "go" as many places or as frequently and the places we do go have changed which I think is normal. But I still have it all, the mornings before school (no matter how rushed they are), the car line everyday, the "what did you do at school today" question every afternoon. One can tell me and one can't lol. We still have the toys but they are cooler now, and the puzzles, that are bigger now, the books that are longer now, and now we have games that we can all play together and the crafts that get more elaborate. Everyone says the time goes by so fast and 5 years have definitely slid by quickly but I pray that when we hit 18 that no matter if I go back to work or stay home that I can say the same thing, no regrets and I didn't miss a thing.
