Batman is very much into bugs and for being "all boy" he is so gentle with the bugs that he finds and is always concerned about their safety and where their mom is. lol. Well we have a bunch of lady bugs around our tree out front and he will go and collect them.

Our sandbox in the backyard. May be the last weekend to enjoy this before it cools off this week.
She was building a sand castle.
Then today we got the paints out. We decided to do a fall tree I saw in a magazine.
Why can't I touch the paints yet??
We drew a tree trunk on the paper and then they used sponges and different colors to put colorful leaves on the trees. Cute and they had fun. I even did one.
Then they wanted more so I got the big sponges and the roll of paper and they sponge painted for awhile longer.
Then Batman headed out to "help" daddy with the lawn one last time this year. He got his gater and followed him.
Well raced him.
This is what he did when he beat his daddy. I never taught him that!
Then this was the standoff. Who is gonna move first? I am pretty sure Daddy won that one.
It is Sunday again and all the homework is done, all the studying is done and lunches started and backpacks by the front door. Ready for another week.
